Evenings at Lentiira are nothing short of enchanting. In summer, the sun sets over the lake, painting the water gold as the world around you quiets down.
When the autumn comes and the stars starts to appear to the sky, Rob, who happens to be a professional astronomer, often sets up his telescope for guests. Together you can take a look at distant planets and galaxies!
The northern lights are also a common sight in Lentiira. You can have an Aurora hunting and photography workshop on site, also aurora hunting activities are possible.
Did you know that there are also solar telescopes? Well, Rob happens to have one! So if you are super lucky, you might be able to see a mass ejection leaving the sun, and couple of days later you can see the auroras, when that storm reaches the earth!

Who says you can’t find good restaurant in the middle of nowhere? At Pirtti restaurant, you’ll feast on locally sourced delicacies.
The fish comes from Veikko’s nets, the elk from local hunters, and many vegetables are grown and gathered by the village’s talented chef, Larissa. She is also picking alot of berries from the forest and turning them into delicious juices, jams and cakes!
Lentiira holiday village review
I have alot of experiences of this place, I have visited there both as a guest and a worker. I have been staying in a small cabin, sometimes I have came for a day trip for pre-christmas party to enjoy the foods and the sauna.
The cabins are clean, cozy, and well-equipped (though some of them doesn’t have an oven). Even in the coldest winter, the cabins are warm and comfy. Even my old cat Namu seemed to enjoy staying here.
What truly sets Lentiira apart, though, is the staff. Elise and Rob always go the extra mile to ensure their guests feel welcomed and cared for.
And Larissa’s cooking? Let’s just say you’ll want second round of everything! Just the starter salads are so delicious that I could stuff myself only with them, but I recommend leaving some space for the main course!
